How we confirm a location

The New York Lottery's public data shows how many top prizes remain on each game, but it does not name the store that sold a winning ticket. We only add a store to this list when the win and its retail location are confirmed by the New York State Gaming Commission. We do not publish winners' names.

Does buying where a winner was sold help your odds?
